 Will Allan Prop    Joined the Bees back in 1987, during which time he  helped the Bees get to the division they are in   now.  Allan decided to hang up his boots at the end of the  99/00 season while on a high.  His last game then was against Lydney which he scored a try in.  Allan did come back to the Bees briefly during the 00/01 season when he covered for injury.
 Matt Birch ~ left Birmingham and Solihull at the end of the 1998-99 season. The fly half joined Bromsgrove RFC with fellow team mate Dave Wilkinson and can still be seen at Finstall Park.
 
 
 Mike Brookes Blindside Flanker    Was one of the squad members who helped to win  promotion from Jewson Division one to National Division  one in the 1999/00 season.  Brookes then spent two  seasons with us in ND1 (00/01 and 01/02), during which  time he made 37 appearances and scored 2 tries.  For the 2002/03 season he moved up north with work and played for Doncaster RFC where he still plays now.   Chris Budgen  prop     joined the Bees in 2000 and made his club debut    against Leeds in September.  Before joining the club he had   spells playing for Ngarauawhia, Newbridge and   Bridgend. He was a regular in the first team during the 2000-01 season, appearing 19 times, scoring 30 points (6 tries) which is pretty impressive for a prop!  No one seamed to be able to move is in the scrum, noticeably Northampton as we scored two penalty tries through our scrums.  The Northampton pack were impressed by Budgie and their management signed up the army prop for the 2001-02 season where he has stayed ever since.  Mind you, choosing Saints over the Bees??  Must need his head checking!!!  Warwick Bullock  Prop     Came to the bees from Coventry in 1997, and helped us     to rise to National Division One in 1999/00.  During his 3   seasons in ND1 he made 60 appearances.  The prop  then decided to hang up his boots after the 2002/03  season.

Gavin Cattle Scrum half    Amazing scrum half, came to the Bees after we were  promoted in to National Division one.  Cattle stayed at the  Bees for three seasons where he made an outstanding  contribution, appearing   42 times, scoring 55 points through 11 tries.  Cattle also  helped out a lot with the kids and going to schools to spread the word of rugby.  He then left at the end of the 2002/03 season when offered a full time deal at Orrell. Richard Chapman Left Wing   Joined Birmingham and Solihull from Rugby Lions in 1995.  He moved on from the club at the end of the 2000-01 season where he moved to local Solihull team Silhillians.  You can follow Richard Chapmans career by going to http://www.silhillians.com
 
Steve Chapman Centre   Joined the Bees back in 1995.  Over the years he helped the Bees get to National Division One in 1999/00.  Chapman then retired after the 00/01 season.
 
Joe Clark Hooker   Came to the Bees after spending a couple of seasons with premiership side Sale Sharks.  He then spent one full season with the Bees (01/02) and during his second season with us went to Esher where he still plays today You can follow Joe Clark career by going to http://esherrfc.org
 Stuart Collard Prop Moved to the Bees from local rivals Moseley and Flyde for the 2001-02 season.  At the end of the 2001-02 season, the prop moved across the Midlands to Walsall RFC.

Luis Criscuolo Fly half   Joined the Bees for the 2001-02 season and impressed the fans with his kicking, in 18 appearances he scored 46 points.  Unfortunately he picked up a nasty back injury when playing in the Powergen Cup against Northampton and didnt seam to regain his fitness.  He then left the Bees at the end of the season to rejoin Coventry.  He stayed their for one season before moving to Esher where he plays today. Pete Van Deventer Centre   Joined the Bees for the 2001/02 season.  During the middle of the season he returned to South Africa to get married, only his Visa wouldnt let him back in!

Danny Gallagher Prop   After playing for Coventry, Matt Gallaghers brother, Danny, joined the Bees for 2001/02 season 
 
Pete Glackin  Fly half Glacks came to the Bees in 1999 and a major part of the team that helped to get promotion into ND1.  The flyhalf/wing/fullback had represented many teams including Scottish Exiles (winning the District championship), Warwickshire at all levels, Scotland U19, Midlands U19 and North Midlands During the 2002/03 season he join former Bees Willy, Spanner and Grinner at Stourbridge.  Glacks has now signed to play for Nuneaton during the 2003/04 season.  Joe Goatley ~ signed for the Bees for the 2002/03 season.  After not getting much first team action he is now at Cinderford RFC. 
 
Jason Goodwin    1997/98 ~ 2000/01    
 
Steve Gough Fly half   Joined the Bees for their first season in National Division One, for the 2000/01 season.  Although he only spent one season with us, in the 18 appearances in the Bees shirt he scored 176 points.  These came from 2 tries, 17 conversions, 42 penalties and 2 drop goals. Leigh Hinton ~ Join the Bees from Moseley.  Now has gone with Coach McKay and scrum half Gavin Cattle to full timers Orrell for the 2003/04 season.
 
Karl Hensley No8              Came to the Bees for the 2000/01 campaign.  He stayed with the club for 2 seasons before joining Bracknell in 20002/03You can follow Karl Hensley career by going to  http://www.bracknellrugbyclub.com
 
Nigel Horton ~ was the Coaching Director of the Bees.  Hortons England career stretched between 1969 and 1980 when he was caped 20 times.  He was also part of the 1977 British Lions squad that toured New Zealand.  He joined the Bees on return from France where he coached for several French Teams.  He is now involved in projects with Predator and also gives lectures to the Rugby Unions of England, United States, Canada, France and South Africa.
 
Gordie Houston Prop   Came to the Bees from Moseley in the 2001/02 season.  He spent two seasons at Sharmans before joining Stourbridge for the 2003/04 season You can follow Gordie Houston career by going to http://www.stourbridge-rugby.com
 
 
Julian Hyde Lock     Came to the Bees from local midlands club Coventry.     Was a very respected player and captain at the club.    During his time playing for Bees in ND! He appeared 48   times. Retired at the end of the 2001/02 season and went on to coaching Broadstreet RFC
 
 
  Ricky Hyslop Centre     Joined the Bees for the 2000/01 campaign and    spent 2 seasons with us before joining Nuneaton in 2002/03.  While at the Bees he appeared 35 times and scored 15 points.   You can follow Ricky Hyslops career by going to http://www.nuneatonrugby.co.uk

  Adam Irwin ~ Centre     great centre who helped Bees on the road to   promotion. During the three seasons in ND1 he    appreared 48 times, scoring 45 points through 9   tries! After finishing studying medicine he left the bees at   the end of the 2002/03 season to do medicine abroad.

  Nick Lewis Prop    his time with the Bees in ND1, he made 44 appreances.   He then joined his junior club Broadstreet RFC as a   player/coach.  
 
Mark Linnet Prop Joined the Bees from Worcester, adding another international to the Team!  Linnet was a won cap wonder, mentioned in the England V Baa Baas program and in Jason Leonards Autobiography!  Linnet retired from the game at the end of the 2000-01 season when he played against his old club Worcester.  
 
Paul Lydster Scrum half   Came from Coventry and helped Bees gain promotion into National Division One.  Spent one season with the Bees at ND1 level, during this time he made 20 appearances and scored 2 tries.  After the 2000/01 season Lydster had a season away from the game but then returned for one more season, this time with Broadstreet.
 
Rory Maclean  Openside Flanker Joined the Bees after playing for local rivals Moseley.  Maclean brought celebrity status to the Bees as they got mentioned a couple of times on the Radio through his father, the comedian Don Maclean!  He left the Bees in January 2001 to join Local Birmingham team Kings Norton and was reappointed as first-team coach.  He then resigned around April 2002
 
Guy Manson-Bishop  Lock   Planned to come to us from Sale Sharks but then got an opportunity to play for Leicester for the 2001/02.  Later on that year he came to us from Leicester on loan and then latter signed for us. He then left the Bees to play for Rugby Lions in the 2002/03 season.

  Richard McCrainer             aka Grinner, made his debut for the club when he    came on as a replacement prop against Tredegar. He the left the bees to join Stourbridge for the 2002/03 season. 
 
Jim McKay ~ came to the bees as the backs coach for the 2002/03 season.  He then left after one season to go full time with ND1 rival Orrell
 
Trent McMurry      Was one of the Players that helped the Bees to promotion into National Division One. In June 2001 he moved across the Midlands o go back to his former club, Coventry where he still plays today.  You can follow Karl Hensley career by going to  http://www.coventryrugby.co.uk   
 
 
  Paul Meadows Openside flanker     Helped the Bees win promotion through the    1999/00 season.  Paul Meadows stayed with the club for the first two seasons that the Bees were in National Division One.  However, with limited opportunities to play, appearing 14 time and 7 times on as a sub through the two seasons, Meadows then moved to Broadstreet for the 2002/03 season.  He then joined ex Bees coaches Willy & Spencer at Stourbridge for the 2003/04 season.  Jason Minshull  Centre

   Mark Nicholson    Dinner was truly one of the crowds favourites.  A great   player and such a nice bloke off the pitch.  It came as a    bit of a shock when he decided to retire from the game    after a great season where he scored 4 tries and started    20 times.  However, when he explained he wanted to    leave the game on a high and at the time his daughter was two and didnt want to miss out on seeing her grow up, well, it just goes to show what a top bloke he is!

Jim Quantil Centre   Joined the Bees back in 1998.  Over the years he helped the Bees get to National Division One in 1999/00.  Quantil retired after the 00/01 season when he fractured his hand.

Jason Roach Right Wing   Left Orrell at the end of the 2000/01 season and joined Liverpool-St Helelns.  During this time he moved to Bees.  He then moved to Sedgley for the 2003/04 season.
 Martin Roberts Centre 
  Vice captain for the Bees, Roberts, aka Speedy came to us after playing for Cheltenham and Gloucester.  His club debute was in January 2000 against Camberley.  Over the two season he spent in National Division one with the Bees, he made 43 appriances, scored 25 points through 5 tries.  Speedy then moved to Cinderford in the 2002/03 season where he still plays today and is also a Backs coach. Sam Russell Blindside flanker   Only made a couple of appearances in the 00/01 season. 
 
 Rob Sailsbury   Helped Bees get into National Division One.  He stayed with Bees for two whole seasons in ND1 and during his third moved to Barkers Butts. 
 
Ben Shepherd Wing    made his debut against Aspatria and spent four seasons at the Bees where he helped the club get promotion to where we are now.  He left the Bees and joined Coventry club Broadstreet for the 2001-02 season.  Ben also had spells playing for Coventry and Kenilworth.  Pete Talbot Centre   Joined Birmingham and Solihull the year we got promoted into National Division one.  The centre then had a short spell at Rugby Lions for half of the season before rejoining us.  He then left the Bees to play for Broadstreet.

 Sam Viggers ~ scrum half/back row    left bees after 1 season for Nuneaton RFC(01/02) and then signed for Coventry RFC for the 02/03 season.  During this season he was loaned out to Stourbridge RFC where he has re signed for 2003/04 season.  Paul Williams (aka Willy) ~   came to coach the Bees for the 99-00 season.  In his playing days, he played for Bristol Uni, Gloucester and Stroud.  He parted with the Bees at the end of the 2001-02 season and is currently coaching at Stourbridge.
